Roy Bennion, Principal, Managing Partner
During his 37-year commercial real estate career, Mr. Bennion has managed the development and financing process for over $500 million in real estate projects, with a primary focus on industrial and corporate park facilities. He currently oversees the management of more than $150 million in assets, including management of approximately $26 million in principal's capital and $28 million in third-party private equity.
Paul Nelson, Principal, Partner
Prior to joining Mr. Bennion and forming Sutherland Development LLC, Mr. Nelson's experience was primarily in the private capital markets. His primary role with the company is negotiating the complex entitlement process for new development in the Northwest. Mr. Nelson also performs the analysis necessary to successfully manage a portfolio of private equity by monitoring industry trends and predicting future occupancy and cash flows to determine whether properties should be maintained in the portfolio, sold or exchanged.
Eric Abbott
Prior to joining Sutherland Development LLC, Mr. Abbott acquired 15 years of experience in the commercial and residential real estate sector through his work as a civil engineer and Principal of his firm. Mr. Abbott's primary role in the Company is the collaboration and communication with the necessary consultants and engineers required to properly assess and execute our development plans. Mr. Abbott has a deep understanding of the entitlement, design and planning process, having worked extensively with numerous state, county and local jurisdictions in the Northwest throughout his career. |
